This shameful 🤭 punishment was supposed to force convicts to rethink their selfish ways under a new perspective (well, literally).The Hanged Man (see picture), twelfth Major Arcana card in the most traditional tarot decks, depicts this singular form of punishment to convey a vital message ☝🏾. One of surrender to a halt and reassessment of old ways of being that no longer serves 🙅🏻♀️.
There's no scape. Pushing forward, believing that more action will drive you to where you want to go, won't work here. Stop 🛑. You must slow down to reconnect to your reason. You'll be free once you gain the enlightenment required to embrace your fate. Trust this, and you'll find your path 🛣 again into the grand scheme of things. But for now, you need to Stop.
Coincidence or not, Mother Earth 🌎 passed Her urgent message through an animal famous for hanging upside down 🦇. So let's take this opportunity to pause and meditate on new ways to evolve and live harmoniously with Her. Global warming is already a reality. And humanity doesn't need to be hanging upside down again to realize that we can't sustain our frantic living ⏭.
